About Us:

DRAMS Architects is a growing multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm located in Emeryville, California. We are currently looking for an Architectural Project Coordinator / BIM Technician. The ideal candidate enjoys working with a small, collaborative design team. Candidates must be self-starters and highly motivated individuals who want to share their talent and experience. We are a fast-paced team collaborating in a very fluid environment.

 

Education:

  • Architectural / Engineering Degree Preferred

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience preferred

  • Must be familiar with the latest edition of the California Building Code

  • Must be proficient in Revit®

  • Must have a solid understanding of AutoCAD®

  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Architectural, Structural and MEP modeling

  • Creation of Design Development and Construction Documents

  • Creation of As-built models from point cloud files

  • Coordination with in-house architects and engineers and external sub-consultants

  • Conduct drawing reviews as appropriate for completeness and accuracy

  • Organize and maintain project drawings, files, and related information

  • Ability to efficiently manage assignments/tasks in a timely manner

Compensation:

  • 6-month probationary period

  • Competitive pay based on abilities

  • Pay structure based on performance, not days worked

Job Type:

  • Full-time

 

Pay:

  • $15.00 - $35.00 per hour

​

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

 

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

 

Experience:

  • Revit: 3-5 year (Preferred)

  • AutoCAD: 3-5 year (Preferred)
