About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable California Licensed Architect to join our team on a project-based, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive architectural experience in the U.S. and a strong command of California building codes and regulatory processes. You will work alongside our internal team to support design development, documentation, and project coordination across a variety of building types.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and review architectural drawings, specifications, and documents for code compliance
Support design development and technical detailing for residential, commercial, and institutional projects
Ensure compliance with California Building Code, ADA standards, and applicable zoning regulations
Collaborate with the team to deliver coordinated project documentation
Provide redlines, design input, and quality assurance throughout project phases
Stamp architectural documents in accordance with California licensure requirements
What We’re Looking For
California Licensed Architect
Portfolio required showcasing technical and design work relevant to California practice
Minimum 5 years of U.S.-based architectural experience
Strong design sensibility and technical knowledge across various building types
Experience working on a variety of building types, including Multifamily, Commercial, OSHPD, or DSA projects
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural software
Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently
Strong understanding of code compliance, construction documentation, and permitting processes in California
