About the Role

We are seeking a California Licensed MEP Engineer (PE) to join our team on a project-based, remote basis. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, who can work across a wide range of project types. The ideal candidate is well-versed in California building codes and has hands-on experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects

  • Ensure compliance with California building codes, energy codes, and other relevant regulations

  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants on multidisciplinary projects

  • Develop and review construction documents, plans, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM Collaborate Pro

  • Coordinate closely with internal and external teams to ensure accurate, well-integrated MEP systems

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a focus on quality and efficiency


What We’re Looking For

  • California Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in MEP or relevant discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in U.S. MEP design and coordination

  • Proficient in Revit®, AutoCAD®, and BIM Collaborate Pro®

  • Experience with a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use

  • Strong understanding of building systems, coordination, and construction documentation

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate on remote, multidisciplinary teams
