About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, efficient, highly skilled California Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) to join our team. This is a project-based, remote position.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in complex structural systems, code compliance, and structural integrity evaluations for a variety of building types.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading the structural design and review process for residential, commercial, and/or institutional projects, with the ability to confidently stamp structural drawings and advise on advanced engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Provide structural engineering design, review, and calculations for residential and commercial buildings
Stamp structural drawings in accordance with California code and licensing requirements
Lead the evaluation of complex structural systems, ensuring safety, feasibility, and compliance
Conduct code and peer reviews, and offer expert input on challenging structural issues
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery
Oversee structural integrity assessments, site conditions, and special structural considerations
Use industry-standard software for analysis and documentation
Ensure all structural work adheres to California building codes and other applicable standards
What We’re Looking For
California Licensed Structural Engineer (SE)
Minimum 5 years of U.S. structural design experience
E&O and general liability (GL) insurance
Proven expertise in both light-frame and complex structural systems
Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis tools
Familiarity with CBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and other relevant building codes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
