About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, efficient, highly skilled California Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) to join our team. This is a project-based, remote position.


The ideal candidate has deep expertise in complex structural systems, code compliance, and structural integrity evaluations for a variety of building types.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the structural design and review process for residential, commercial, and/or institutional projects, with the ability to confidently stamp structural drawings and advise on advanced engineering challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide structural engineering design, review, and calculations for residential and commercial buildings

  • Stamp structural drawings in accordance with California code and licensing requirements

  • Lead the evaluation of complex structural systems, ensuring safety, feasibility, and compliance

  • Conduct code and peer reviews, and offer expert input on challenging structural issues

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery

  • Oversee structural integrity assessments, site conditions, and special structural considerations

  • Use industry-standard software for analysis and documentation

  • Ensure all structural work adheres to California building codes and other applicable standards


What We’re Looking For

  • California Licensed Structural Engineer (SE)

  • Minimum 5 years of U.S. structural design experience

  • E&O and general liability (GL) insurance

  • Proven expertise in both light-frame and complex structural systems

  • Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis tools

  • Familiarity with CBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and other relevant building codes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
